When I first started this course I first had my creative skills tested using photoshop, which I had never used before. I thought that this task was going to be tough but it wasn't that bad. When I first started to use photoshop, I didn't find it too difficult to use. I was able to adapt to the various tools fairly quickly. In order to recreate this magazine cover, I used the type tool. I had to replicate this magazine cover as much as possible. I had to use various font styles and sizes. Overall I found the task fairly easy and I am comfortable with the end result.

Denotation
This magazine appears to be a pop/dance magazine. Results and conclusion
From my results I can see that a vast majority of my audience are males who range from ages 17 - 19, most of which like electronic/dance music. 50% of my audience preferred the masthead "NexusMusic" to be used on my magazine, whereas around 28% preferred a different option, while the remaining 21% preferred the other option, so I will be using NexusMusic as my masthead. A vast majority of my audience preferred for me to use the "Digital Anarchy" font for the masthead. The first magazine layout was the most popular out of the three chosen. Most of my audience would also like my magazine to refer to other genres of music, although most of them don't want to see a selling line. The most popular colour scheme for the front page was Red, Blue and Black and most of my audience want a mid shot for the main image on the front page.
